WordPress 2.7.1 was released today and for the first time it was possible to upgrade it automatically. Automatic upgrading has been working for plug-ins for some time and it is such a great feature. Now, as we are able to upgrade WordPress itself it is even better. Everyone should use WordPress 🙂

Everyone should use WordPress? Its code is so bloated, I don’t understand a thing. Everyone should use Expression Engine, or perhaps Textpattern.
I find it too difficult to customize WordPress to my needs. Can you?
I am satisfied with the WordPress code but I suppose knowing some PHP helps. I have as you see not made any new layouts but there are several hundreds or thousands of themes out there so it cannot be that hard.
I am glad you ware happy with EE. I am sure it is a nice tool for those who want to spend their whole day making layouts. I prefer spending the time writing.
